What's the Difference Between an Extended, a Crew, and a Regular Cab?

These days they may be called a Double Cab pickup truck, these trucks now come with slim, second-row doors for access to the cargo area. Despite having 2 rows of seats, an Extended Cab pickup wouldn't be the best option for long trips, even if it can carry more people.
Is a Regular Cab right for me?
As the name suggests, a regular cab truck has one row of seating with very limited storage space and legroom. A regular cab truck was once the single configuration available on pickups. In most regular cabs, the seats practically touch the back part of the cab. This style is the practical version of a pickup truck and usually comes with manual windows and locks. A regular cab is made to work, not to haul your friends and family around.
Is a Crew Cab pickup truck right for me?
While not as clear as the earlier types, a Crew Cab pickup has 4 regular-size doors and room to transport your 'crew.' Crew Cab trucks are made to transport more stuff and-or passengers. For some folk, these pickups have become the family vehicle. A Crew Cab pickup truck's powerful engines and bigger size are unavailable in the sedan world while still providing the luxuries and legroom that families desire.
