For several years now, Buick has excelled in introducing crossovers to their lineup while maintaining the trademark of elegance and refinement. The newest premiere SUV, the Buick Encore sets pace for the next generation of luxury models. Additionally, this time they are launching a new Buick that's slightly bigger: the all-new 2020 Encore GX.
Performance Highlights
The Encore GX Essence is powered by the 174 lb-ft of torque and 155 horsepower ECOTEC 1.3L Turbo engine that is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission to deliver a powerful and thrilling drive. Meanwhile, the 2020 Encore Preferred has a 1.4L DOHC turbocharged engine that provides 148 lb-ft of torque and 138 horsepower.
Design Highlights
Both Buicks feature that bold Buick signature grille, 18-inch standard wheels with stylish finishes, LED lighting, and other appealing features. Specific to the 2020 Encore, an available moonroof for better views, standard-equipped 18-inch, 10-spoke aluminum wheels with a light argent finish, athletic hood lines, and unique signature Buick lighting. For the Encore GX, there are standard roof-mounted side rails, LED headlamps and taillamps, and 18-inch machined aluminum wheels with high gloss dark android pockets.

An 8-inch Buick Infotainment System sets the media world at your fingertips with navigation, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and a Bluetooth® connection that keep you connected hands-free in both vehicles. Available a 4.2-inch multicolor display for vehicle information, wireless phone charging, and active noise cancellation are all found in the Encore GX. An essential safety feature that comes standard in the Encore and Encore GX is a rear vision camera, which helps drivers when their field of vision is blocked.
