Sales experience was great but dealing with the finance depend less than desirable. There was a a pretty long wait once an agreement with sales had been made to when finance documents were ready to be signed. I disclosed that I wanted to take documents to my wife who was pregnant (day before induction) so she didn’t have to come in and sit through the process. I took the documents to her to get her to sign them with the understanding that we had one document that had to be signed at the dealership. She signed the documents then came back the the dealership to sign the last one. When we went inside we were instructed that all documents had to be signed again because of a spelling error when the information was input from my wife’s drivers license. We signed all of the documents and went about our day. The following day while at the hospital for the birth of our son, I received a call from the finance manager stating that the title was denied because of another spelling error. I understand that mistakes happen but this is 2 errors due to laziness. My wife’s parents purchased a new vehicle from Finnegan within the last 6 months and had to take off work to come back and sign all documents again because the same guy didn’t input the data correctly. I will continue to recommend Finnegan for the quality of their sales team but will strongly warn about the quality of the finance department and that the purchaser will have to check all documents because the Finance manger is sloppy and doesn’t not check his work.
